Hydraulic Reel Drive (3)
• The reel drives incorporate a spring-applied hydraulic released holding brake rated at 150% of the maximum rated torque. The brake applies automatically in the event of loss of hydraulic pressure or engine shutdown.
• Variable displacement hydraulic pump drive system with infinite speed control
• Auxiliary hydraulic pump for level wind operation
• Hydraulic oil cooler to ensure uniform heat dissipation
• Hydraulic reservoir with a bottom drain port, oil level and temperature gauges
• Freewheel mode.
• Clutched drive for helicopter operations.
Engine and Pump Assembly
• T4F John Deere water-cooled diesel engine or equivalent with 12-volt electric starter, keyed ignition, throttle, ammeter, and oil pressure gauge, block heater.
• 28-gallon fuel tank.
• Lockable steel battery box with battery blanket and solar battery tender.
• Coolant heater, programmable.
• Low temperature starter package.
