WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare, organize, and maintain production work orders, and related documentation
- Ensure all production records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed
- Support scheduling and tracking of production activities
- Ensure correct revision control of drawings and documents on the shop floor
- Create and process purchase requisitions for materials, tools, and services
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Track order status and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparing and managing nesting layouts for production (e.g. CNC, fabrication)
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and maintain equipment/service records
- Maintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance logs
WHO YOU ARE
- Post-secondary education in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing administrative role
- Proven work experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is an asset
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and effectively manage assignments
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Intellectually curious, passionate about learning and being the best
- Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action
- Can-do attitude, and respond in all situations with a positive and energized attitude
