POSITION SUMMARY

This position performs all types of industrial welding and fitting work to fabricate heavy equipment, as well as prepares various surfaces for welding by grinding or other means as necessary. The position summary is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.

  • Read job specifications and interpret engineering drawings
  • Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using measuring tape, straightedge, combination square, calipers, ruler, etc.

  • Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for handling contract documents on projects of various sizes as well as setting up and maintaining project documentation within project filing requirements, including checking the quality of drawings, and documents to be catalogued, and received. DUTIES

  • Set up and maintain project documentation within project filing requirements
  • Coordinate (and follow-up) completion of all customer submittal/transmittal requirements, and ensure they are submitted, received, and internally distributed in accordance the contract schedule
  • Maintain a file of all applicable written correspondence for the project to be added to the engineering W/O file upon completion of the project
  • Assist in:
    • Administration (preparation of monthly reports, minutes of meetings, etc.)
    • Co-ordinating customer or 3rd party inspection visits to the factory
  • Receive, archive, scan file and control documentation and reference resources
  • Follow up with all department managers to ensure that Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)/Request For Change (RFC) forms are being completed and signed off in a timely manner

Plant Supervisor – Afternoon Shift

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this position is responsible for supervising the operations of the afternoon shift. The Supervisor ensures employees are aware of all safety requirements and instructs them in the Company’s Health & Safety Program. Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, this position is responsible for generating sales volume and customer inquiries, responding to customers’ inquiries, preparing responses to customer RFPs, delivering presentations, creating and following up on proposals, and helping Timberland meet its growth and profitability goals.  The position involves all aspects of the business development process including: prospecting, lead generation, qualifying leads, proposal preparation/follow-up, developing account strategy, handling customer questions with respect to proposals, and closing of the sale.
