Timberland Equipment Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for its Woodstock, Ontario operations to grow their marketability presence in South America, Central America, and Mexico. Duties include: generating sales volume and potential customer inquiries, responding to customer inquiries, preparing responses to customer RFPs, delivering presentations, creating and following up on proposals, and helping the Company meet its growth and profitability goals. The position involves all aspects of the business development process including: prospecting, lead generation, qualifying leads, proposal preparation/follow-up, developing account strategy, handling customer questions with respect to proposals, closing of the sale, and project management.  The position will require the ability to travel internationally (up to 50% travel). Successful candidate must have post secondary education or equivalent experience in business or engineering and 5 years of experience in international sales of heavy electric utilities equipment within the South American, Central American and Mexican markets. Position is full time, consisting of approximately forty (40) hours per week, at an annual salary of $70,000.00, exclusive of benefits and bonuses.
